Yankton, South Dakota is gearing up for an incredibly busy and exciting summer of archery. The city is set to host 10 major archery events between June and October of 2026. These prestigious competitions will take place primarily at the world-renowned NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center (NEYAC), as well as locations throughout the surrounding community.
As the headquarters of the National Field Archery Association (NFAA) and a premier training ground for athletes worldwide, Yankton has long been a major hub for competitive archery. This upcoming stretch of 10 major tournaments further cements its reputation as the Archery Capital of the World.
A Historic Summer for Yankton
The events will span multiple archery disciplines, including indoor, outdoor target, field, and 3D archery, bringing thousands of competitors, families, and fans into the Yankton area. This massive influx of archers highlights the incredible scale of the facilities at NEYAC, the welcoming atmosphere of the Yankton community, and the ever-growing popularity of the sport. - 4-H Outdoor State Tournament (May 30–31)
- USA Archery Field Nationals & US Team Trials (June 3–5)
- USA Archery 3D Nationals & US Team Trials (June 5–6)
- NFAA Outdoor National Field Championships (July 24–26)
- IFAA World Field Championships (July 26–31)
- First Dakota Classic (August 28–29)
- 3-Star Shoot Off (August 28)
- NFAA Outdoor National Target Championships (August 29–30)
- World Archery Field and 3D championship (23 September - 4 October)
